Established in terms of the Mpumalanga Tourism & Parks Agency Act 2005, the objective of the Agency is to provide for the management and promotion of responsible tourism and nature conservation in the Province and to ensure sustainable utilisation of natural resources for the benefit of everyone in the province.
MTPA provides an integrated tourism and biodiversity conservation management system in order to stimulate and maintain economic growth for the Province.
