I paint in oil, scenes of landscape and wildlife capturing moments in time, sunsets and scenes with Wildlife. which is WHY he set his Website up as www.mymomentsintime.co.za.
I paint in washes of colour, building it up to give “real life” to my paintings and a feeling of real depth and perspective.
The strongest influence in my life was growing up in the untouched wilderness of the Kalahari, in Botswana, and getting to know and love it during the early 1950’s.
Hunting with Bushmen as a small boy and farming there as a young man, taught me a respect and love for the never ending Savannah which will never again be seen on the same scale, and so untouched, and vast. I thank our Maker for the privilege of this experience and now for the opportunity to express that love through my artwork.
