- The Giant Flag – Guy Lieberman:
“Dear Guy, Michael, Wayne and AshleyI would like to thank you all for being a part of the Outdoor Eco Adventure and Travel Expo this year. This was our 23rd Annual Expo and we were looking to have a bumper turn out – however, due to various competing events and especially the relaunch of the Kyalami Race Track on the same weekend, we did were most disappointed at not achieving our expectations.
Unfortunately, due to management issues, I was unable to attend any of the talks however I have received excellent responses from those who attended the talks as to the content and quality of each presentation. I would have liked to have had time to spend with each of you, to hear more about the content of your talks, and will hopefully make an appointment to meet personally in the near future.
I would like to thank Ashley for the passion he brought to the Eco Speakers Event and, as he has indicated, there is much that can worked towards and I would be privileged to be a part of exploring the options to develop a way forward.
Thank you all for being a part of this Expo and to your time and contribution and trust that those you touched, by your sharing of your knowledge, will spread their experiences from your presentations to others that they interact with – so play the message forward.
I would like to send each of you a token of our appreciation and ask if you could please send me your Postal Address details by return.
Outdoor Exhibition Organisers (Pty) Ltd”
I wanted to say thank you so much for your preparation and presentation at the Outdoor Expo last week-end.
Unexpectedly, it seems the Expo was part of a frenetic events calendar that ultimately effected ‘feet through the door’ and the Eco Speakers event had a much smaller response than was expected too. Thanks so much Wayne for helping me ring that bell and stomp around with me like a town crier, hauling people into the venue!
In any case, there is precedent for the discussion that we initiated: our South African natural and cultural inheritance, as well as the kind of environmental custodianship that you’ve has made integral to the work you’re involved with. I would really like to keep in touch so that we can use some of the impetus at some stage to develop this further. (To be continued!)
Once the official photos are edited together, I’ll put together a more comprehensive report back.
Again, thanks for all the integrity and willingness that you brought to this event, and for making it special. (Michael, the imprint of the Homo Naledi skeletal hand on whoever held it was unforgettable!)
- One Land Love It – Wayne Bolton:
“Well done for a successful Expo!”
- Wildside Events – Chris Vey:
“On behalf of the whole Wildside Team we would just like to extend a massive thank you for all the work you and your team put in to make the weekend a success. Personally I’d just like to say thanks for helping out with the organising of the cars, it really made a huge impact at our stand.”
- The Adventure Academy – Andy Biram:
“I just want to take a moment to say thank you so much for the opportunity to exhibit at The Outdoor Expo. I loved every minute of it and got some really good solid leads in the process. You guys run a slick operation and I look forward to being involved into the future. Thanks for being so Lekker!”
