On this amazing adventure, the winner will experience:

  • Swakopmund – Effectively where we officially enter the Skeleton Coast, this amazing town right next to the coast as well as the mighty Namib Desert as an over abundance of spectacular scenery, many a shop as well as tonnes of activities available, we have some amazing dinner plans in order, always exited to visit this awesome desert paradise!
  • The Cape Cross Seal Colony-on our way up the Skeleton Coast, passing by a shipwreck or two we will find ourselves stumbling upon a colony seals of about 100 000 strong, one of the largest cape fur seal colonies to be found anywhere! This amazing site coupled with the fantastic eco-friendly lodge and their amazing location make for an unforgettable experience.
  • After spending some time next to the coast, we move inland to the pre-historic feeling Damaraland, passing by some giant Welwitchias as well as Messum Crater on our way to a very small and secluded spot within the Ugab River Valley where we’ll be camping in our pre-set camp and enjoying our meals from the campfire.
  • After traversing through the heart of Damaraland we then move n to the famous Kaokoland where we once more will be enjoying some fantastic lodging, but the big treat is the privilege to drive into the Hoanib River Valley in search of the almost forgotten Desert Elephants.
  • And so we find ourselves going about as far North as one can in Namibia towards the spectacular Epupa falls and the beautiful accompanying Kunene River, words cannot really describe how beautiful this area is.
  • And then last, but not least, we indulge our senses with the fantastic wildlife of Etosha National Park, after all, one cannot visit Namibia and not try your best to take in as much as possible, both scenery and wildlife.

Prize includes:

  • 16 nights of accommodation in various lodges, hotels and camping spots.
  • All meals: Breakfast, lunch and dinner daily as well as bottled water.

Prize excludes:

  • Travel either by road or plane to and from Windhoek before and after the safari holiday. Prize winners can either opt to drive to Windhoek for the start or fly in and hire a 4×4 vehicle for the duration of the holiday. Flights are priced in the region of R4000 to R5800 per person (as at August 2019). Details will be discussed with the winner.
  • 4×4 vehicle. 4×4 hire is priced from R1100 to R1400 per day (as at August 2019). Details will be discussed with the winner.
  • Border costs.
  • All fuel and maintenance costs.
  • Vehicle insurance.

  • Winner will liase with African Expeditions directly and must abide to the conditions set for the safari.
  • Safari departs from Windhoek on 13th Prize winner is responsible for their own travel to Windhoek and must arrive in Windhoek by 12th July. Overnight accommodation for the 12th is included in the prize.
  • Prize is on a sharing basis of all accommodation.
  • Only listed activities are included in the prize.
